| The Circus Comes To Town The most famous Big Top name has rolled into Norwich bringing with it 50 of Europe's finest circus artistes Billy Smarts Circus is currently touring the UK for the first time in more than 30 years and promises heart-stopping aerial performances, Olympic medal winning gymnasts, jugglers, comedy and magic. The circus was closed in 1971 but has recently visited towns and cities across Europe including Norwich 2 years ago, to test the water with new material. With clowns from Russia, acrobats from Bulgaria, gymnasts from Belarus and aerial acts from Mongolia and Finland the performances taking place at the Norfolk Showground look set for success.
